Hello everyone,
Here is the February Report:
We had a good turn out of 17 members at our February meeting, although the weather was rather damp and dingy. We met for an excellent lunch at the Wheatsheaf, Stow Cum Quy. During lunch Chris handed round details of the Pensthorpe meeting in May, together with the group menu but more details will be available on the Anglia website. Details were circulated by Ali & Dave regarding a classic car show at Duxford in August, which will be a national event.(Help will be required for this) Details have to be finalised regarding this and more information will be available shortly.
After our meal we drove to Anglesey Abbey where the snowdrops were out in the Winter Gardens and after a good walk in the rain we headed for the tea shop for the usual afternoon tea!
Next months meeting (March) is Ivans Drive details will be on the Anglia website shortly. Aprils meeting is Banger Racing at Swaffham 1 p.m. start, again further details will be on our Anglia website nearer the time.

Hi everyone - Hope you are all OK. Here is some info regarding Pensthorpe which we hope to be visiting at the beginning of May.
Chris has come up with the following information:
Admission Rate: Adults: 8.00
Senior Citizens: 6.50
These costs are based on 15 people attending!

Chris needs to know numbers, choices of menu and money at the April meeting please.

Menu:
Sausage & Bacon Hot Pot served with fresh seasonal vegatables.
Home Cooked Honey Roast Ham Salad served with Norfolk Chutney and baby potatoes
Creamy Baby Spinach Mushroom & Mature Cheddar Lasagne served with salad.
Ham Mushroom & Sweetcorn Oat flan served with salad and potatoes.

Lemon Crunch Pie
Apricot & Almond Bread and Butter Pudding
Wafer basked filled with vanilla ice cream topped with seasonal fruits.

Tea/Coffee 1.40 per person.

Cost:: 1 Course 6.95 per person
2 Courses 9.50 per person

Sorry we didn't make Holme Lacy but glad to hear everyone had a good time. We won't be joining you at Hayling Island due to other commitments in June and we won't be able to make Anglesey Abbey either. However, we hope to see you all at other meetings.

I am going to list below the proposed diary for the rest of the year, but obviously you will need to keep a check as things may change round due to weather commitments etc.

February 7th - Meet for lunch at the Wheatsheaf, Stow Cum Quy, choice of menu below for those who have not booked yet. Then we will be going to Anglesey Abbey for the winter snowdrop walk in the gardens.

March 7th - Scenic Drive by Ivan - probably somewhere in Suffolk

April 4th - Banger Racing at Swaffham - Bring a picnic lunch - if wet we will meet at McDonalds nearby. Racing starts at 1p.m.

May 2nd - Pensthorpe - Classic Car Ralley

June - Summer Holiday - Hayling Island - will need to be confirmed by Friday 22nd Jan to get the prices quoted.

July 4th- Summer Picnic on the Coast - details will be announced later.

August 1st - BBQ - Jo & Keryn's - Gosfield

September 5th - Sandringham

October 3rd - Rougham Air Show

November - Theatre Trip

December - Christmas Lunch - Provisionally at The Grange.
