Anglia Reports:
Anglia members have had a busy time over the past six weeks. Firstly our summer holiday in Grasmere at the beginning of July was well attended. The hotel looked after us very well in the food departments and although the rooms were not large they were quite comfortable. May of us took boat trips on the lakes and we always had our evening constitutional walk round the village.
Our August meeting was held in the forest near Brandon and the men in the party couldnt wait to do battle with the large BBBQ and also fight off the wasp population. After lunch it was time work off all the food we had consumed and we spent a pleasant time playing boules, giant dominoes and badminton. After having our customary cup of tea in the cafe we all set off for home. Thanks to Jonathan for his organization skills.
Septembers meeting is being organised by Thomas & Sharon to the RAF Radar Defence Museum in Neatishead. Lunch 12 noon at The Olde Saddlery in Neatishead.
Octobers Meeting has been moved forward to 27th September on the Nene Valley Railway. (40s theme) Picnic required. Perhaps most of us will support the theme and have a different look!
