Hi Everyone,

Sunday 6th September is the visit to the RAF Radar Defence Museum. The museum is being opened especially for us and includes a guided tour. It will cover the various exhibits including the Cold War room which was in actual use during that time.

Lunch is booked at the The Olde Saddlery in Neatishead (NR128AD) for 12pm. They have quite a large varied menu and a small carvery. From there it is only a short drive to the museum.

Directions (easiest); Head to Wroxham via Norwich on the A1151. As you enter Wroxham you will go over the bridge. Stay on the A1151 through and out of Wroxham.

Turn right at the sign (1.9m from Bridge) for Neatishead / Barton Turf. Stay on this road (ignore RAF Radar Museum turnings) and eventually The Olde Saddlery will appear in front of you. Their car park is small but there is a bit of street parking available.

As the museum is being opened just for us and it is run by volunteers I need to know exact numbers. The following people have previously expressed and interest:

Just a quick update on the planned 'show' for the November meeting. Still not much about at the moment (Maddermarket - see below) although I will keep looking.

Theatre Royal, nothing yet scheduled for the Sunday although Saturday has a performance but is a childs play and then something else starts from the monday so they may not have anything that evening.

Norwich Playhouse, performances only showing up until October.
